Artists Lisandra T Di Liberto Brown, Eric Francis and Wil Brown have been chosen to take on the walls of artspace in an exhibition titled On The Wall. This is the first exhibition where artists are painting large-scale artworks directly on the walls of the mainspace floor of artspace.

Lisandra Di Liberto Brown moved to Shreveport, LA from her small town of Hatillo in Puerto Rico for love. This passion is reflected in the brilliant reds, bold blues and opulent oranges that fill her canvasses.

I always have at least five paintings on my mind. That’s what makes me an artist. I'm an artist because of what’s happening in my mind. Not so much because of what my hands do. What I do with my hands is a technical skill. These techniques come from classical painting, which I fell in love with visiting museums and galleries. I also love the bold beautiful colors of Haitian primitive paintings I saw growing up on my walls. I grew up in New York so everywhere I went I saw graffiti. Graffiti made words into art. I take elements of graffiti, classical, and primitive art into my work.
