In mathematics, one could describe a convergent sequence as a sequence that gets closer and closer to a certain value, but never reaches that value or limit. Driftwood and glass are two very different mediums. The driftwood is selected based on the natural contours of the wood. In contrast, molten glass has a tendency to be round in shape. Converging the glass and the wood transforms the glass, creating a partnership between the two.
